So I just got a call from my dealership saying the new owner of my '11 is having issues with his speedometer. When he's going 40 mph, his speedo says 47. They can't seem to fix it in the service department.

The car has a Bama 87 tune on it still because the salesman didn't upload the stock tune correctly before returning my SCT that is now mated to my Boss. I had never messed with the speedo or gears on it.

I figured I'd reach out and see if anyone had ever ran into this problem before and how they fixed it. Thanks everyone.

sounds like the tire ratio is not set right on the SCT.

Dealer should reflash the ECU if the new owner does not have a SCT.

Thanks! I'll relay that to the dealer. I'm assuming my SCT wouldn't work to change that since its no longer mated to the car.
