Great stuff in this thread!!
I'm committed to my 17" for this season as I already got the tires for it. I will monitor the wear and tear closely and if I still have the car for next year I will look into upgrading to the Vorshlag kit. The fact that I can use good ol' "off the shelf" centric rotors is a big selling point for me. I wish they would fit 17" wheels but oh well.

T-2 weeks for NHMS for me :)

Cheers everybody.

A few issues from an entirely autocrossed car (average 15+ events a year)

1. Blown axle seal
2. Weeping crank seal (shop says its likely from heat/high RPM's)
3. Brake fluid pissing out from the reservoir cap (solved by going to better fluid/brake ducting)
4. Torn drive shaft cv boot with grease already gathering around one spot to spit all over the car and fail (again RPM's etc)
4. Brakes and rotors that actually lasted surprisingly long
