Should I use finger nail polish to cover bar metal where I scratched off the paint and primer? It's not a big deal, but I was dumb enough to use a screw driver to get the faux gas cap off :dunce:

It's not going to show once I put it back on but I don't want it to rust either.

Get yourself a cheap set of plastic harbor freight pry bars and scrapers. I love mine.

us touch up primer and paint to cover it. far as taking the emblem off, you could have used fishing line and a plastic putty knife. once the emblem was off, then take Goop to remove the adhesive left.

Yea I was being stupid and trying to rush it the other day, a screwdriver was my brightest idea at the time. Today I used a plastic putty knife and a microfiber towel which actually worked 100X better anyways. I went ahead and put some clear nail polish on it then installed the blackout panel, looks great!
