I didn't even see those JPC ones that bolt up to the factory H pipe. That is great for emissions testing states since you wouldn't have to buy a expensive ass LT catted mid (like I did).

The factory mid pipe on the 5.0 is in 3 pieces. The JPC headers eliminate the front 2 pieces that have the cats. Still a bargain if you want to run without the cats.

It's a typo I am sure, they missed the 1 in front of 599, you know because bent steel pipes should cost you over a grand
I don't think its supposed to be 1599. Maybe 799 or even 999. Just cause with x pipe and catted x its only 1399-1599.

BBR has done a couple header shootouts and posted on SVT. I hope they don't mind me linking the threads but I found them interesting.

KOOKS HEADERS

PYPES HEADERS

:hi:

I wouldn't trust a damn thing they have to say. They "prey" on that site due to the demographic of people that participate there along with the vendor protection policies.

What needs to be done is back-to-back track testing. Not some gay dyno queen shit that can be manipulated.

I am just fed up with that crap. I run a full Pypes exhaust on my 2012 and I have nothing but praise for it. It really bothers me when these parts pushers make a bunch of shit up to benefit themselves.

The product should speak for itself. Look at those cars who are setting records. Said owners are using parts that work. That is where the rubber meets the road not with some BS dyno numbers. If all these parts being pushed made the HP claimed, we would all be driving 600WHP, 9sec. bolt-on cars.

WBT how do you manipulate dynos? I've never seen anything in the software that changes power numbers other than what correction you choose. I see people people say it but have no idea what they mean. But have only ever tuned on a dyno jet.
I'd rather see back to back on a dyno. Same day. At least w the same tool the gains arent so important as the difference of the two. Track teting would be harder and probably not the same day. The you get into another can of worms there
