Those subs will probably fit, but you are definitely going to have to go with a fiberglass box in the spare tire well and you still may not have enough airspace for both of them.

Time to break out the packing peanuts, lol.

Its all about trial and error, thats how you learn

Thats true....but when it comes to custom box building....I usually like to do it right the first time.

Since you have Kickers.....try here first.

Depending on YOUR sound likings......THIS IS FOR A SINGLE SUB

Sealed - 1.25 cuft.
Sealed SQ - 2 cuft.
Vented - 1.75cuft, Square port 2.5x13.25x22.5
Vented SQ - 3.25 cuft, Square port 3x13.25x14.5

So if I wanted to add just 1 10" sub, low pro (small magnet), would the tire well be big enough to house this? I'm getting sick of my stock sound as well and would like to add a little bump

I'm planning on building two boxes out of fiberglass and MDF for some 10's one each on either side of the trunk. So I still have the majority of the trunk to use but still having the bass from the subs.

Several companies make sub boxes that fit on the right side up inside the rear fender area.

Just make sure that your box is correct to the box requirements or your efforts will be wasted. Wrong box = blown sub or bad sound....

Good luck.

I am aware of the Zenclosures box, and the JL & Kicker preloaded boxes. Are there others?

MTX makes them as well as Saleen.

I have one of the Saleen boxes with a single 10" with built in amp. It's not over the top and it's a simple plug and play.

Is it just me or is that way too much for a box..... I have been looking to get one to fit in that same spot but just cant convince myself to pay so much money for some wood.

For a custom fiberglass box....doesn't sound to far out of range.

That is about average. Fiberglass gets expensive. But it being carpeted they could sell it for cheaper if they chose to. If it was painted. It would be well worth that price.
