Choose chart style and check the ones you want to graph. At the top there are arrows to expand the chart area.

yes i selected what i wanted drove it, saved it,watched it over and the afr1 and 2 dropped to a low of.84 and .86 at WOT, that x1 4.079 = a/f ratio correct? or do i just take a value out of one of the columns..thanks i just dont know if im reading the correct factors

Learn lambda. .84-.86 is what a lot say is good. I prefer .819 on the street, which is stock commanded in the high rpms. That is my preference but .85 is good.

Also, look at the knock reading. If it shows a negative number look at the rpm and load it occured. If it is slight knock (a low number) richening the mixture may make it go away if not your tuner will know where the knock is happening. Whoever your tuner is may want to see your logs and make changes.

I just ran a datalogg on my 2011 for shits and grins. I am running Stock right now till the heat subsides some. Temp outside this morning was right at 80 degrees.

Came up with some interesting readings. This was a WOT 1-3 pull.

min/ max/ average

AFR Bank1= .776/ 1.999/ 1.193
AFR Bank2= .831/ 1.999./ 1.177
ETC Actual Angle= 1.227/ 81.000/ 20.175
Knock Sensor= -3.227/ 0.000/ -.0124
Lambse b1= .830/ 1.023/ .931
Lambse b2= .830/ 1.023/ .929
Load as Fraction= .090/ .986/ .286
spark advance= -3.500/ 48.000/ 35.286

I am running 92 octane fuel that i get from my local BP station here in town. To me it looks like the stock ECM settings are running really rich and is picking up knock and retarding the timing. I am not really familiar with the Knock sensor numbers or the spark advance numbers, so if someone that knows for sure what it is doing please chime in. Spark advance seems really high for stock settings????

I did this to basically learn how to datalogging and to see what I need to keep an eye out for when I reload my tune. Again ANY help would be appreciated.

THANK YOU. I've been wanting to Datalog my car stock but I don't have a tuner yet. I had a feeling the stock tune would have knock.

The min Max avg doesnt tell u much. Your afr is really only critical at wot. Your timing will be all over the place until you go wot. Youre going to get some knock depending on octane temp and load.

So it was tipin. Did your logs show a decrease in load and an increase in timing during the shift? If so I am not sure you will ever be able to completely eliminate knock in that situation.

If you let out of the throttle the timing should spike. That high vacuum, you need a lot of advance to keep it from burbling and backfiring.

The ign retard tip in values are typically pretty flat from 2k rpm and up, I cant think of any case where Ive had to adjust the value in a particular RPM cell. So before you go and change tip-in, I would do some more logging with a slower roll into the throttle through that RPM range (try rolling into it as many ways as you can muster). If the problem does not exist when rolling into it, only when stabbing it, then its time to look at tip-in adjustment.

make sure when looking at figures and logs that you are noting auto or manual.

Quick question: Is spark advance essentially the timing?

Yes, positive numbers are degrees advanced from TDC, negative numbers are degrees retarded.

I started datalogging my stock 11 yesterday. Im trying to build up some consistent maps, then Ill post them in a new thread.
For now, I have this:

Mustang_WOTlog_02.png

Notice how the mixture suddenly fattens up at 4100 rpm
