so you basically want the distance between the studs on the oem hydro mounts? that would probably be a lot easier than trying to measure around an engine

I'm not sure of your exact need, but if you just need something to hold the engine or transport it, you could buy this.

I just bought one and it fits well. It may be a tad pricey for what it is but I didn't have time to fab something.

that's exactly what I'm making for $0.00... will have lateral members so it is one piece, possibly bolt together so I can throw it in the rafters when I'm not using it/adapt it to a 5.0.
