I have the Whipple sitting in the garage but I think I'm going to sell it and use the cash to upgrade the tranny and rear end. Then it's Mammoth time.

I picked up a set of stock heads from a member on here. Gonna run those for the time being.

Its a 2.3 gen 1. I upgraded to a duel pass heat exchanger (afco), lightning water pump and a few other things. Going to send it in to Whipple to be freshened up before I do sell though. Probably going to ask around 4000 for it.

what kind of gains would a person see with that bottom end with stock heads,cams? Not jacking your thread, I am SERIOUSLY thinking about going for a stronger bottom end and can't afford bottom and heads. Sucks being working poor.

Unless you put a stroker in so you get more cubes, I would say none.

Yes I was going for a 302 forged stroker shortblock, and use my stock heads and cams.
