Not at all. It was "borrowed" equipment so I had no choice but it worked out very well. These S197 cars use a tall tire stock so since I'm only making stock horsepower numbers the added benefit of the short diameter tire helped me some. If I do a gear change I'd probably go with 4.30s and get taller tires for street and track.

I run the 26x11.50 17s ET streets that you saw me at the track on; the tire hooks when warmed up. The bias tires will sway if the pressure is a bit low, however it's not too bad once you get the pressure dialed in.

You mention having a tire hook-up....able to share that with me? haha I need to buy some new sticky tires soon
