I replaced my 17 " band type wheels with 19 " gt rims from 2016 gt.
What is the best fix / recalibration? Getting tired of lights and buzzers.

My mom smacked a curb recently in her 09 Grand Marq. Had to remove band/sensor to have rim redone.
First I'm amazed the batteries work in all of them (all original), as current sensor batteries are good for 5-7 years.

Second, I got a new band kit to remount to the wheel. I don't see anything that special on those rims that you could
not attach a band to the inside of newer rims. Any mostly flat area inside rim should be good enough.

These are BOSS 302S Leguna Seca wheels I picked up last year, 19X9/10. Seems either would work with those band sensors,
on that flat area.

My tires are date code 0207. I'm gonna need newer ones soon. I was wondering about sensors as well. No red lights at this point. I believe 07 had TPMS.

Forscan will turn off TPMS. Turned it off on several Fords.

Original tires?? Kind of scary..........:) I only replace the sensors when they go bad/dead. And as mentioned,
Mom's are now 15 years old and going strong.

My Mom's car has the "basic" TPMS light on the dash. Assume yours would too, if you had it.

Good point. I should see if the warning light even exists. Probably see it on start up.

Tires only have 4k on them and look new but yeah, I'm doing short drives and nothing too fancy. I'll get Conti or Michelin here soon.
