FAMOSO JUNE 1st test n tune!

I am going to Bakersfield for some 1/4 mile passes finally. I decided on June 1st, which is a friday. Gates open at 6pm. Decided on the evening test and tune because the temps and DA will be better.

Anyone else?

I do want to try Famoso someday, but that weekend is already booked for me with both Qualcomm (Friday) and Barona (Sat). Also, when I do finally go up there, I'd want to trailer the car. That's a long way from home if something breaks.

Yep, good idea---I think its close to a 500 mile round trip for you...

There are a couple of test n tune dates in August--but then I would really consider taking a Friday off and going up there in the evening--you know its going to be HOT in August up there during the day...

Well--I am going to Irwindale on the 31st, so hopefully I will run a sub 7.20. If that happens, then I am hoping for low 11's at FAMOSO.

Do you know how concerned they are with verts running under 13.5 without a roll-bar? I won't have mine in until the following week.

We will also be their, are you going to pop off that rear cover and see what that noise is? when I heard it at the track it didn't sound so good. IF you brake it what will you be putting in the rear?
