Well it took almost 6 years but I'm finally done. I started making a germanium fuzz face back when I was a sophomore in high school; I sourced some bad ass TI germanium transistors from a Ukrainian electronics auction and started soldering this pedal together, but after it didn't work the first time I abandoned the project and just put it on a shelf.

Well today I was cleaning up my closet getting ready to go back to college and I found it covered in dust sitting on a shelf, and having recently done all of the surface mount soldering on my car, I felt ready to give it another shot. So after about an hour of re-soldering she fired right up and sounds AMAZING, like indescribably good, sounds only an analog pedal can create.

I'll post pics in a little bit, maybe even try and record a sound clip.

sell? :whistling:

The last time I used a fuzz face was 1973!
It belonged to one of the guys in my band who was playing bass. I used it on a few songs. They were a popular on bass guitars too.

Cool you went back and corrected your mindless childish mistakes..haha
