For years I used the Porter Cable dual action 7424 polisher. Last year I stepped up to a Flex dual action (3401 VRG) even better. Friday I received the Flex PE8 rotary kit. Wow, what a great tool. I love how it gets in those tight places with 1, 2 and 3 inch pads! Very fast correction with little effort and virtually no heat generated. Using Menzerna P4500 polish with this polisher is amazing. Removes those fine swirls and jewels with absolutely no holograms left behind.

Just another great tool in the detailing arsenal! Highly recommend buying the kit:

Are you still using the Flex dual action?

Yes. I have all three of the polishers I mentioned. They all have their purpose. The aftermarket paint on my hood and speedster tops is pretty soft so I use the Porter Cable on those parts. The OEM paint on the rest of the car is pretty hard so I use the dual action Flex 3401 or the PE8. For all the tight places the PE8 is king.
