Ok...put in the harness and discovered there was something extra on it.
Im not sure how to mount or where Ford put it.

Any one have the HID's from Ford and can snap a pix and show me where they put it?

HID relay box for both 4.0 and 4.6.

5.4 also routes fuel pump and charge air cooler pump relays through this box.

Thats it!! Thank you so much for the Pix.
I appreciate your time!!

I fired it up and only one headlight worked.
I ordered new D3S...but I gotta get the front end back on soon before she gets mad at me as the upgrade was my idea. lol

Ok....thought I was missing something. I couldnt get the drivers side light to work. Changed bulbs and stillnothing. So I swapped it to the pass side harness and it fired up so Im guessing it the wiring. When I plug it in the shield snapps closed so its getting power. Maybe not enough....no idea. My next guess was the resister. I popped the cover and saw a big blank area....but I guess thats normal.
Figured I would switch them and see if the pass side now doesnt work. ha haa

The fun of troubleshooting....

I may just drop the Saleens in....I have a set of Saleen HID's. Just to get it going.

You have to re-pin 2 wires in the harness and add a couple resistors. Did you do that step?

^exactly my question...if OEM, do you have a part number? OK, so according to the .pdf the OEM HID Harness from 2008-newer Mustang (P.N. 8R3Z-14290-GA). I wonder what I would use for an 06?

Nevr mind...would work with an 06--just had to read some more... :)
