Never been to a drift event before but decided to take work off and attend this one. I expected mostly imports but was surprised to see Mustangs dominated in numbers at the show. I was pulled over on the way and told the cop I was going to the event, he told me to check out the RTR Mustang and let me go. I snapped a few pictures for you guys:

I drift my 240sx every now and then at Willow Springs but I never got in to watching the shows. This was my first show I attended and it surprised me that the Mustangs out-numbered every other car there, and to top it off 90% of the Japanese cars are running American V8s haha:

I've been to a formula drift up here once. I would go again more for the cars and girls then for the actual drifting.

Before my mustang I had an FD and did some amateur drifting, even back then the popular thing was to swap in an LS1 and sell the stock motor. Everyone thought it was odd I swapped in the 20B. The supercharged viper motor is a new one, but I like it haha.

Definitely go, it's only $28 for general admission but I'd recommend paying the extra $10 for the VIP as the seats are much better, I bought the tickets late and the VIP seats were sold out.

I originally wore just sandals, but then I saw how nasty the floor was and I didn't bring shoes but had extra socks in my gym bag, but I agree haha

I would've defiitely said hi, I only stopped by the Trufiber booth a couple times to talk to Phil as he said he was going to hook me up with a new hood. I was there both days, but most of Saturday was watching the races and cheering Vaughn on.

For anyone wondering, Vaugn got 2nd place, narrowly missing out on 1st because of a error in the last corner.

Trufiber had a booth?! I didn't even see it! I was at Slammed society most of the day
