Forward facing headers with A/C pics

I thought I would share some pics of my new setup. I'm running twin BW s366 turbos and I am building some forward facing headers that go up next to the valve covers similar to the ls forward facing headers. I was able to reroute the high side (smaller) a/c line by bending it a little and I'll be getting a custom suction (larger) a/c line since the stock one would be in the way.

Now if you notice the downpipes will be exiting the fenders like Silverpoison did, because this car is mainly a race car, but still able to be driven on the street. However, I'm sure someone with some ingenuity could weld v-bands to the headers and put the turbos elsewhere to allow for rear exit downpipes. I won't be selling these since I am just a guy building his car, but I figured it might give others who could sell these some ideas to maybe make some headers that retain a/c and power steering(although I deleted mine for looks).

I'll share more info and post more pics as it progresses, but hopefully I'll have the turbo setup built in a week or so.

281ci 4.6 3v
-Manley billet i-beams
-Manley anodized pistons 9.8:1 comp.
-Manley 9310 wrist pins
-Cobra forged crank(oil holes chamfered and crank smoothed to remove sharp edges)
-King HP bearings
-ARP hardware
-CNC ported heads with Manley intake valves and PAC 1533 springs
-JPC cast intake manifold
-Modified 03-04 cobra throttle body to fit intake and use throttle cable
-Bosch 160lb high impedance injectors (I run E85)

Twin BW s366 turbos with below setup
Tial MVS wastegates
JGS 60mm BOV

TH400 with reverse manual valvebody and transbrake
PTC converter
3" chromoly driveshaft
8.8" rear with Strange 35 spline axles and spool with 9"ends
BMR springs
Strange SA struts and shocks
UPR k-member and pro race rear lca
UMI uca and mount
Wolfe 10pt roll cage
Kirkey seats
Simpson chute

Megasquirt Ms3x with ls1 coils

Aeromotive belt drive fuel pump
GZ motorsports crank mandrel

More pics of passenger side header built and tubes welded. I still have to weld the primaries together in the collector and weld the collector and head flanges on. I'll be using a junk head for that to keep the header from warping while welding.

Thanks guys!

Hopefully I can remove the headers without pulling the motor, lol. I haven't tried yet, so we'll see.

lol, it'll be done soon enough. I don't know about smoking you, because I haven't driven it in so long but it should run well.

I'll have some more pics this week when I get the wastegates in. I'm running a megasquirt ms3x and I never did a build thread.

I updated the first post with the major build info. I'm sure I'm missing something I can't think of right now.
