It was raining sunday and I got Bored so I started to clean up my garage, well My Drag tires kept getting in the way, so I took care of that... I thought for a moment and I got an Idea..

2 4 foot 1/2 in black iron pipe w/ threaded ends
8 - 1/2 in Lock Washers
20 ft angle iron w/holes
plywood backing
bolts and nuts

Cool idea, I think I'll do that in my shed next weekend. I'm also researching home equity loans to widen the garage to 3 bays (with a lift!) and I'll include a plan for a nice wall mounted tire rack like that--great idea!

nice work... i too had the clean up bug... took the takeoff parts from this winter (clutch, gears, diff and DS) and put them in the shed. Used some 1x2 to build a little shelf to sit the DS on under a real shelf. Just cut some 10" or so lengths and screwed them into the 2x4 beams... very easy!
