FRPP Intake manifold - What is it made of?

The idea of putting this intake manifold, cams and a 62 mm throttlebody on my 3V has been bouncing around inside my spacious head. Right now I have a nice blue Plenum cover over the OEM intake manifold. This would not fit over the FRPP manifold and why would I want to? It already looks pretty nice. What I had considered is sending it to Jet-Hot And have them powder coated royal blue except for the already colored portions. I told them what I wanted powder coated, sent them pictures, They quoted me and follow up twice a week to see what I want to do. But it has occurred to me now, what is this intake manifold made of? Can it even be powder coated or is it a composite plastic like the OEM?

So… can it be painted successfully?

Scuff it and use adhesion promoter. I painted my stock composite intake Gunmetal grey and it has held up for over 5 years.
