good 60ft , bad et 13.5

I went to Royal Purple Raceway 1/4 yesterday , and hit a 1.72 60ft , but feels like the car just lays down on my on the back half , I have quick shot out of the hole until about 330ft (5.456) , then it slows down , 99-101mph. I think it may be the BAMA tune , I was thinking of trying a VMP or LUND tune , any suggestions why the car is great out of the hole but lays down on the back half ? et. is 13.500

With that 60 ft I would say the tune!

I got better times with a 2.1 60', and the only thing done to my car is a intake, offroad, x pipe, and a bama tune

Is this the first time out with the car at the track? If not, what did it run previously? What was changed prior.

There's too many variables, you could running out of gear, not enough gear, converter could be slipping, transmission could be slipping...

A little more info would help.

it was about my 20th pass , before the 3000 stall my 60ft was 2.01 , 2 weeks ago @ the 1/8th I ran a 1.80 60ft, the D.A. was about 22,000 , overcast , but still those et times have been the same before adding all the mods 13.5 before and after mods is crazy ! 3.73 gears and stall were added and still 13.5 !! after 5 new tunes , no improvements ! thinking about trying VMP tune , I think there better than Brenspeed.

You need a custom dyno tune! Get that thing In the 12's with that 60ft

At that DA i would think the engine is oxygen deprived in the higher rpms

That's an awesome 60 foot! I wish I could hit something like that. my best time was a 13.4 with a 2.19 60foot on street tires. No traction in 1st and 2nd gear. I'm also running the Bama tunes and they seem to work pretty good for me.

meant , 2200 , not 22000 , , think I'm gona try a VMP tune , the car should hit 12.9ish , I do think the shift points are bad !
