Over 1k does sound like a lot to spend on a intake mani. But in the grand scheme of things for that car its not that bad. you don't lose low end, losing low end is almost always the issue when choosing intake manifolds.

Also everything else on that car is so damn expensive when compared to the S197 I am really not surprised at the price.
