GT500 with a whipple or a ZO6 w/small bolt ons

I am making my GT a track car, Should I get a GT500 with a whipple/KB supercharger or the Vette?

Remember I already have a track oriented car, I just want to have fun with the new car on the street....

I would go with the zo6 as long as you are going with the newer ones without the flip up headlights

I vote Z06!!! You'll have your mustang as a track car, why not get something that is a bit different and have fun in. Not saying you wouldn't enjoy the GT500, but 2 fast cars that are a bit different would be my choice!! Good luck with whatever you do!

Well, I just went through this delema myself. While I think that the z06 is a bad ass ride, I think the gt500 is a better value. You can get a new 09 gt500 for the same price as a used 06 z06. The gt500 also has a little more room and a back seat incase you need to haul some people in a bind.

i would go for the shelby with a the new huge 3.8L supercharger (belive thats the size) thats what im going for after i sell my car or maybe just trade it in

Get the Z06 and spray the hell out of it. haha. i want a GT500, but I know if I already had a mustang, the only way I'd want another was if it was a PJ. I'd get the Z06.

thanks for the input guys, I started looking for a used Z06 with less than 10k miles. Hopefully I finnd one on good condition.

I've driven both and if I had to choose... I'd go with the Z06 in a heart beat!!!!!!

Either would be a big kick in the junk, but, as stated, if you can live with 2 seats go for the Z06. The cars are amazing. Plus, if you did just small bolt ons the thing could stay under warranty rather than out as a KB would do to a GT500.

It can be a nice option for a fairly new car.
