honda rod journal clearance

any one running a honda rod journal? i have an eagle stroker crank, with forged rods. im trying to figure out what rod bearing clearances i should be running with 5w-30 oil. i was told .0020-.0030, that seems a bit large to me. any insight would be helpful.

Rule of thumb on clearance is .0010 for every inch of rod journal diameter.

so i should be running around .0018 then.
