How much are used 2011 5.0s going for

Our shop is looking for a 2011 5.0 to modify for Sema. We are Just curious how much they are going for. We have done some research and came up with a bunch of numbers in a large range. We would probobly look to spend no more the 23,000 on one with less then 60k miles.

anyone have an idea?

From our research, for a 2011 5.0 with 50k miles we have found anywhere from 21,000-26,000 so we are unsure of what would be a good or bad deal.

23-25 for a low mileage base gt....26-28 for a premium. mine has 29k on the clock and is slightly modded... if i were to sell it i would list it for 28k with the mods and 26k without... its a premium with comfort package..

I think you can find them for that price. My dealer recently had a 2012 with 40k, premium auto listed for 23k.

You guys ever thought of trying to get a car from Ford for SEMA? You put a proposal together, include 3 renderings of what your intended build would look like, and any plans where to show, promote, or any possible media coverage. It's not guaranteed you get a car since you are sort of competing against a couple thousand others but if your idea is really good and you put well thought out renderings in your proposal you have a good chance of getting a brand new one for $1.
I've done this a couple times with a shop and we'd gotten a few cars from OEMs this way. We are putting in for a Ford vehicle for SEMA 2013 from Ford. Helps to have strong sponsors and a strong theme.
