I need a new bumper!!!

Bumper #3 bit the dust today after a skirmish with a concrete parking barrier thingy.

SO does anyone have a stock Satin Silver GT bumper, in the Houston-area, that needs a new home? Mine is currently sporting the ghetto look of duct tape underneath and I'm just not cool with that.

I got a new painted one to match from new car take off dot com. THey remove new parts to maike Saleen and Roush cars etc. You'll get a new one painted to match yours for cheap. check them out. (google them)

Someone told me about that yesterday, as a matter of fact. They also have stock rotors for only $40, brand new and I need a pair of those big time.

Found a local shop here (Auto Express on Spring Cypress) that said he can do a special weld and repaint that portion, for $265. Also is a performance shop in addition to a body shop, and his kids go to school with my kid. FINALLY, a decent, honest place that doesn't have guys in there wanting to date me. The bumper on that site is $200 plain, and see my avatar - has a custom painted stripe. So the weld fix is probably gonna be my best bet now. Plan is to get the bumper done, rotors done, and torque limiter installed at the same time. Once I get paid that is.....

Geez, I didn't realize it's been a month driving around looking like it has, but I'm getting a new bumper this week from Fastlane and it's gonna be JUST in time to take the Stang on a road trip. Should be ready to roll on Thursday....those guys are taking good care of my car.

Gots new rotors finally too, so no more shimmy in the front end!! Whoo hoo!
