Well, 1st run was ugly, 60 foot time of 2.8...lmao. Car was sideways off the line. 13.12 1/4mile

2nd run, still spinning...2.08 60 foot and iat is pretty high. Ran 12.65 1/4 mile with my saleen 20" wheels and toyo t1r's. I'll keep updating as I go.

Get a second set of wheels and tires for the track, it'll help you to keep off the walls. I use to race with street tires, until one day I fish tailed so bad that I went into the other lane heading for the wall. Lucky for me I fish tailed again back into my lane.

12.2 was my best for the night. Someone dumped oil on the track twice, so I definitely not getting traction. I think alittle suspension work and I can get my 20's into the 11's! Guess i'm going for the Don's challenge! LOL

Special thanks go out to Adam@ST for working on my tune while working his ass off at the shop! Hope the rest of your night goes better man, I owe you some beer!

I know Lidios hit 11.20 with his 20's on, so I know I can do it...lol. If I can just get my fricken 60 foot times down, i'm golden. I need to do some product testing on some "Bite Bars"...:poke:

Here's a video of my son AJ racing one of the guys (Auston) in our club (Stangpede). Auston has an 06 (Whipple S/C's) with Saleen 20" wheels and street tires.
My 05 (Saleen S/C) has 17" wheels and M/T drag tires.

Different wheels & tires just to race will make a big difference.

Sorry... You can't do suspension work and still qualify for the Don Challenge. The ground rules are simple: 100% bone stock 2005+ Mustang, with a supercharger as the only mod. [Technically, lostsoul is cheating, but I doubt that will matter much :poke:]

But, either way, I'd love to see you get into the 11's!! What were all the incrementals on your best pass?

Congrats Kim that was awesome to see. Now my ass is toast when we run them again. Oh well bigger turbo for me then.

I can't remember what his details were but he was picking up 24 mph from the 1/8 to the end of the 1/4. If his reaction times weren't down syndrome slow then he wouldn't of had to chase everyone down :poke:

Can't wait to see what you can do on some drag radials or slicks. That car is wicked fast bro.

LOL, it was pretty bad. I was busy trying to hit record on everything to datalog and log a/f while staging. Next time i'll worry about my reaction times.

Here's the specs of my run:

Stock engine-Whipple 10psi with tune from Adam@ST
3.55 gears
20" Saleen Wheels/Toyo T1R Tires
Weight 3908 lbs.

.8699- Reaction
2.0159- 60 ft
5.3221- 330 ft
7.5361- ET@594 ft
8.0270- 1/8 mile
91.66- 1/8 mph
10.3190-1000' ET
106.87- 1000' MPH
12.2690-1/4 ET
115.93- 1/4 MPH

Adam changed the tune, I made a run and logged it. Emailed it to him, changed it again and I picked up .4 secs to make this run. Thanks again Adam!

Thanks roper!

Don, the other part of the rules is that you have to have 20's right? Or could I put someone's 18" wheels on?

Because of his springs?
LOL... yea, that and a built shortblock (and clutch, too, right?).

Like I said, the "original" challenge was a 100% bone stock car (including motor, trans, driveline, suspension, wheels/tires, etc.), except for a SC.

I'm pretty sure I can get into the 11's with 18's, but i'm going to stick with my goal of getting my 20's with a stock car into the 11's.
