Thinking about trading my '11 GT in for a '13 with select shift auto, Brembo and Recaros. What do you guys think of the advantages and disadvantages of going from '11 to a '13? Getting 26K for my '11 plus 1250 in rebates plus invoice price.

Are you an auto or a manual now?

If you have a stick, I would stay with that. If you have an auto and to keep an auto but have the option to switch gears and what not, I'd go for the select shift auto.

26k is a pretty good trade. They'll throw in on the lot for 32k and probably end up getting 29-30k for it. What can't my Mustang hold their value that well?

How much of a loss do you net ? Could you buy the Brembo and Recaros for less than your loss ?
It's 2012, you have a 1 year old car ??
It is your choice..

Sales tax twice in a few years, no thanks.

Id stick with the 11, its the same car and should have quite a bit of the loan paid off if you have had it for a few years... Can you get the brembos with a auto now?

Would i trade my auto 2011 for a 13? No way, front end just doesnt look complete. Tail lights cant cost that much

i think history will show that the 2011/2012 Mustang GT's will be some of the most desirable in Mustang history. keep the 11

If that auto select shift is anything like they use in a couple of their other autos it's junk... I'd highly consider testing it out first. I have he select shift in my ecoboost truck and it's so unresponsive... Hopefully they tune it better for a mustang.

I would wait until the 14's are out. Last thing you want is to be in a position of wanting a new 14 and having to do it again.
