leather conversion with side airbags

Does anyone make leather seat covers that will work with the side airbags.....and will anyone install them?

Try Katzkin. They claim to have the correct thread that will "burst" if the side airbag is deployed. If the wrong kind of thread is used, the airbags may not deploy properly. And they should be able to steer you to one of their authorized installers. This is the ONLY route I would take if I were installing leather. And I have no connection to Katzkin whatsover. But this is not something you want to skimp on.

I would recommend taking your factory leather in and having them restitch in the colors you want in the areas you want to make sure you don't mess up the side air bag setup. I plan on doing this with mine next year.

i dont have the factory leather...i have the cloth with the side air bags
