stroker crankshaft how big will these kit make the new 5.0???
i Keep looking at people posting is going to be hard to do stroker kit for these engine.

will it be 347 or what are the plans.....

i am very interested....

It is true that based on some design changes with the 5.0 that a stroker requires more work to make it come out right.

For size though because the engine already has a larger stroke the gain from adding stroke will not be as large. The deck height has remained the same so this will make a much larger stroke not possible. We are still evaluating the size though. 347 is not possible though.

Thanks

I'm guessing we would expect 310-315 max?

Even 5% larger would make it worth while if a person has to pull everything apart to do the rods and pistons anyways.

?????????

Nowhere near enough meat on those cylinder walls. We aren't talking your old school iron blocks. These are sleeved aluminum blocks. Not enough stroke left to go either. I think the bore is as far as you can go.

Rick,

Just checking in on your short block and if you've have any updates on the hp pushed through as it's rated at 1,000. Seems like a hell of a deal for $4,500 and was wondering if all my stock heads/etc bolt right up. I assume so.

Also, do you have any dyno/track videos?

Thank you for your interest!

We've sold several of these engines and though we don't hear back from every customer afterwards, the parts used will definitely support 1,000 HP.

Thank you,

Rick
