What was stopping you from routing that wire on the inside?

Got it fire up last night, only to find out the Ford fuel pump is having issues... I'm going to re-wire it tonight and see if that'll fix it. The patient is rejecting the heart transplant...
There's a crappy cell phone vid on my FB page here:

No it doesn't have a nasty cam in it, it's just idling too low.

RIP - You will be missed
Have at it. Wouldn't bother me a bit.

I learned how to drive on a '55 shoebox (inline six, one-barrel carb, 3 on the tree), and I'm the only owner of a '79 Malibu, 32 years and counting.

Video is a fail because it's uploaded from an Android and is sideways and crappy quality, but here it is, nonetheless. Better vids will follow soon! I'm going to re-wire the FP tonight.

Found out that I was having WAY too much fuel pressure...due to overlooking the fact that the Ford pump is PWM. The LS3 PCM was commanding the Ford pump to full voltage and, thus, producing WAY too much fuel pressure. That was fixed with a C5 fuel filter w/regulator. I just ran a return line from the filter to the hat on the tank. I've gotta get a double male quick-connect for the feed line tomorrow, then she should be ready to go!
