This kind of thing sucks all the way around, especially if you have firm plans to wrench. Just keep in mind that things can (and did in this case) change from when Amped set up the group buy until now. It sucks for everyone involved, including Amped.

On the bright side, we do all know where things are with the clutchs and can make (hopefully) better plans for when they should be here. Good luck getting your buds car up and running.

I agree with you, and knowing that they are back ordered is a lot better than looking for the big brown truck and not seeing it.

The amped boys have sent me a few nice pm's, and although I'm not thrilled about the back order, it it definitely beyond there control. I think they have handled it well, and done what they can. They are in a tough spot, and probably feel the same way i do in regards to my situation with my buddy. It's tough being responsible, but having limited control, and information available.

I think mcleod owes us all a beer and a T-shirt!!

These things seem to happen a lot in the performance industry so there's really nothing AJ could have done to get us our clutches any sooner. We'll just have to wait a bit longer for the best clutch out there.lol

I'm sure amped boys won't mind me putting this up.

Mcleod is out of floater discs, and they are due to get them in this week. Mcleod said that they would be shipping the clutches out the same or next day that the floater discs arrive. That should happen this week! No exact dates but looking good for this week!!

I have the Mcleod single disc in mine and its holding up strong. But I def wanted to upgrade to the twin disc. Which would be better for my car? I drive it on the street and at the track at least once a week. And how much?

Biggest advantage of the twindisk is when it's toast (which takes quite a bit for it to happen) you only need to replace the disks not the entire clutch so in the long run you actually save money while being able to hold more power!

well i talked to Tom today, still waiting to hear from Mcleod...... Mcleod definitely dropped the ball on this one.

All i have to say is that ill shop with amped again for sure........and i wear a 2XL T-shirt hint hint!!

Weird!!?? I ordered one a week ago and it showed up yesterday!

CORRECTION: I got the setup from another vendor NOT AMPED, AMPED has no connection to me recieving my clutch setup!
