So what does your Safe Injection module do? I mean practically, since it can't pull the timing? Mine just triggers an LED in the dash.
The Safe Injection is good for detecting low flow and over flow situations. If a tube comes out of a connection or a line breaks, or pump motor goes bad, it will detect and trigger the warning signal. It will drop boost pressure in supercharged or turbocharged applications, or cut ignition.
It's prob one of the most needed tools with running a meth kit.
And here is a pic of the meth flow gauge. Not absolutely necessary, but I like to keep an eye on it..For me, the safe inj was a must. My car is tuned for it, and I am running a 3.48 pulley and seeing 12 lbs. of boost up top with no after cooler, lol..
my computer isnt showing a pic, but the other guy said he likes your gauge setup, whats going on. can anyone else see a pic? Here is a pic of where I mounted mine. Its piggy backed with the computer module.

If you put meth and do not tune you will actually loose power if you leave everything the same...
As for snow performance, snow meth kits were release what? 6 years ago and haven't changed one bit... The pump is still a 150psi, the pump internals can't handle 100% meth, obviously they say on their webpage not to use 100% meth because bla bla bla it will not benefit. Could it be that their pump can't handl 100% meth? Look at cooling myst, and forget about those flow gauges and stuff. That still requires you to keep looking at the gauge. What you need is a fail safe with the injection that if it stops flowing meth or something is wrong it will kill the car. On my car I have it connected to the waste gate solenoid with the greddy e-01 EBC. If something is wrong it sends the voltage to the waste gate to dump all the PSI.
could any real gain be achieved using methanol on a n/a car?
The flow gauge has no bearing on the flow. Its only an extension of the safe injection module. I dont think you can even use the flow gauge without it. The safe injection is what measures the meth flow, and if the flow stops, it will cut power to the engine and prevent harm. I am not 100 % sure what is cut out, I am assuming spark, not fuel. I ran my car for one year, foolishly, without the safe inj. I got lucky...
maybe gas mileage..

Most of them letting the meth tank run dry, that is something you should check everytime you use the car.
Absolutely sure about that? The SI module sets a 12V signal high, and can interface with aftermarket engine management systems, but not the stock computer in our cars. It can't pull timing in ours. Alternatively, please tell how yours is wired up because I'd like to do the same with mine
Not trying to be an ass here, but unless you're running the wastegate or bypass solenoid, the only thing the SI module can do is light up the supplied red LED.
Very true. I just went with what my tuner had the best experience with, and felt most comfortable tuning, and that was Snow. I've got that above mentioned red LED right beneath my shift light along with a low meth level LED, and flow active LED.
