Really cool write up. If i still had my 2008 i would try this.

If MGW made a flat, chrome stick with MGW inscribed on it, I would of gotten it & put a White ball on top..

I'd buy that if they made it.

I bought my MGW based on the positive reviews here. My only disappointment was the round shaft. I really wanted the flat chrome or polished aluminum or stainless stick.

i did the same to mine a year ago. its a awesome mod!

and BTW, does anyone know where to find the rubber ring that holds the boot to the Hurst stick? mine snapped in half.

Trimmed and dropped about 2 more inches.. now it's the perfect height for me.
