I have never had a chance to get my longtubes installed, and I plan on returning to the track here soon.

Mods since last track visit:

1. Bullitt rear end with factory installed 3.73 gears
2. QA1 Rear single adjustable shocks

Any suggestions on a starting point for the adjustment for the QA1's?

Im hoping for a 1.75 short time. Reason being, my father's '67 Mustang, which ran a best of 11.97 in the quarter, had a terrible 60' time of 1.76. I want to have bragging rights that I can atleast beat him to the 60'.

So, previous PB is 12.54 @ 109.57 on street tires and full weight.

Any predictions?

I would dookie in my pants if I could land a 12.39.

a lot of us are going to prp tomorrow morning.

Finally made it to the track for the last time time this season. Only two mods have been done. The bullitt rear end with the factory installed 3.73 gears, and the QA1 rear adjustable shocks.

Set the shocks to 6 and 8 on the driver and passenger side respectively..

Couldn't best my 60 ft, but still bested my ET.

12.44 @ 108.5 mph.

I think if I could have got my 60 foot down to my best, 1.79, I could have ripped off a 12.3x.

Just got my Pypes Long Tube Headers with O/R X Pipe installed, and had the car dyno'd.

So, the Lt's were the only mod done since the last dyno run...

Old Dyno Numbers - 307 rwhp, 325 rwtq
New Dyno Numbers - 315 rwhp, 332 rwtq

And the dyno shows a constant increase in both HP and TQ.

Now, I have to wait until spring to put in on the track for the true test...

Glad to see I'm running similar times as someone else, everyone thinks I lie about what's done to my car.

no updates this year? nice thread

Sorry, life got in the way.

I did make it down to the track a couple of weeks ago. And unfortunately, my street tires are too worn and hard to be effective. So, Im going to have to replace them before I go down again.

They have about 10k miles on them and 3 winters of sitting out in the cold.

I was only able to run a 12.75 at 109 mph. I could only snare a 1.99 60ft, and the tires are breaking loose badly on my 1-2 shift.

Bad tires plus more HP = poor 60ft.
