Right now I'm looking to replace 2 of my tires, but I have a sizing dilemma. I really want to go wider, but to match the diameter(28.2) it would mean doing like a 255/50(.2" shorter) or 255/55(.6" taller) and they would be rear only. I have also thought about doing a 245/50/18 and keeping them front only since they would be shorter.

Should I,
Keep current size
Go 245/50/18 and keep them front only
Go 255/50 or 255/55/18 and keep them rear only

28.2" on the fronts will look goofy IMO, that's a lot of side wall, your handling could suffer was well IMO

I already have 28.2"(235/55/18) all around. It's just the wheels I bought used came with 2 tires and they're a crappy unknown brand so after 7 months of dealing with them, I'm getting rid of them. Horrible understeer when they were on the front, and now I have limited traction with them on the rear

Just can't decide what size I wanna go with out of the few options

+ 2. I'm close to a 27 up front and a 28 in the back. Do whatever you gotta do to get ride of the 28.2 up front.

Sidewall isn't too bad but it's definitely there

I think I'm just buy 4 new tires, probably like a 255/45, maybe a 265 if it's within specs. I would love to buy some 18x10 wheels all around but that's not in the budget till next year

RIP - You will be missed
Something in 265/45-18 (width range 8.5" - 10" for most tires, Michelin Pilot Super Sports claim 10.5") would legitimately work on either the 18 x 8.5's that I think is what you have or the 18 x 10's that you want to get.

Around 27.4" tall.

Just discovered the black american muscle gt500 18x10 for $99 each, ugh. I hate black wheels but that's a really good price and would allow me to step up to a 275 or 285/40/18.

Curious if there would be any issues running a 265 or 275/40/18 on my current wheels(18x8.5)? I know the tire companies say minimum 9" but it's a daily driver and would only be pinched for about 4 months at the most until I get 9.5 or 10" wide wheels

I'm running 275/45/18 on 8.5" wheels. They fit fine, have a good height, and look like they belong.

I bought a set of Porsche takeoff Contis. 275/45/18 and 245/50/18. The price was less than half of new and the tires were basically new.
