What would be the difference between these two? Ok the reason I'm asking is a friend of mine owes me a favor and he works at a muffler shop. So He's going to give me this magnaflow style type x-pipe and install it on my car for free. My car already has the cats cut off and replaced with some pipe (cat delete). So would it be ok just to cut out the h pipe area and weld in the x-pipe? Or is it really worth it to just to buy the pypes x-pipe. Since the tubing is still going to be 2.5 he said it's not worth it to pay for the pypes x-pipe. Please help me out guys. Just wondering what would the difference be sound & HP wise.

They are both x-pipes actually.
One is more of an equal X and the other is a squeezed X which you see on most midpipes, performance wise I wouldn't think any difference.

OK thanks. So I'll just let him cut & weld in that one and keep the stock piping.

Frpp sells a cut and clamp kit if you have the means to do it yourself.
