I got some new wheels on the 05-11. The wheels are 20x10 and 8.5 niche enyo's. I put some toyo r888s 315/30 on rear and 285/30 on front. They hook great so far.

Those tires are way too wide for those wheels. You'd have more grip with skinnier tires.

And what do you mean 05-11?

I converted to a 2011 gt500. The tires hook great so I'm good with them.

I have the same tires on my 15 and they are 9.5 front and 10.5 rears

I as well as you would get better traction and use of our tires if the rims were wider.

If you notice on your rears, the outer edges of the tire curve and you can see that not all of the contact patch meets the ground.

For the fun of it, I put a 285 on the rear 10.5 on one side and left the 315 on 10.5 on the other. The 285 on the 10.5 looked so much more proper and all the contact patch was touching the ground giving a much wider look. Im getting some 20x10 and 20x11 soon so it should help them stretch more properly.
They will still work and are great right. Great choice on tires, I love mine!

I had to do a double take at posts #4 and 5! LOL

Nice conversion! And the new wheels look great on your car.

Great looking car and great job on the GT500 swap.

But calling it an 05-11 is just plain weird ... you'd be better off calling it an '05 GT500, which obviously Ford didn't build.

Those 315 R888's really need an 11" wheel ... a buddy has them on some 20x11 Steeda Spyders and they look great on there:
