New Dd - g8 gt

Found a nice g8 for sale so I decided to get it as a DD. Man this thing is nice. And moves.

Previous owner claims it went 11.8.

Cammed, long tube exhaust intake and stalled.

Yup! Cams make a huge difference with these damn things.

Always liked the looks of the G8. IMO Looks way better than the Chevy SS sedan

My best friend has a 2010 G8 GT and he loves it. He never took it to the track but I bet his will run high 12s. His is just has a dyno tune, transmission tune, had the gas pedal tuned so super sensitive, plus has the varram (think its called) air intake. He said the best thing he did to the car was get the auto tuned and shut off displacement on demand. He also has a 2001 LS1 C5 tuned and his G8 is more powerful off the line then his C5

Nice! I've always wanted a G8! Almost bought one for the wife but was afraid she'd crash it in the winter time (she's never driven RWD).

Thanks, I almost got a SHO, but I opted for a v8, and this was Cammed. Which is music to my ears. It was hard to buy a GM, but it's a very nice car.

I had one as my DD when they first came out. Most fun 4-door I've driven. I just hope you have better luck with yours then I had with mine. I had it lemon lawed...

Lol thanks! If it was a lemon I sure hope it would have been found out by now! I wish these came in manual tho. I couldn't justify the gxp cost! Maybe have to do a swap one day.

I like the cars as well. The motor responds really well to mods and a tune only makes a big difference.
