Hi Everyone, new to S197. I always look forward to learning from other Mustang people about these cars we all love. I currently have a 2011 Kona Blue 5.0 with a Vmp tvs supercharger. Unfortunately, the engine just let go on me and I am currently having one built by MPR. Looking forward to learning and sharing knowledge with all of you!

Not sure why, but I'm thinking two years at 14lbs of boost finally took it's toll on the stock internals. It was a few weeks ago.

Yep, I think it was a piston. I am looking forward to the new build:
Ford Racing Coyote Block
Boss 302 crankshaft
Custom coyote blower grind cams
Custom coyote valve spring and retainer kit
Billet Oil pump gears (already had tss)
Manley pistons
Manley H beam rods
ARP Main stud kit
Clevite rod and main bearings
ARH 1 7/8 longtubes w/ 3" collector
Fore triple pump system for e85
ID 1000's

Welcome, from Fort Myers. Ike at MPR built the engine in my 2011 5.0. He's an excellent builder. My friend Justin here in Fort Myers has a Kona blue 5.0 with an MPR motor and a TVS. You probably know him. (I think it's apart right now for a turbo swap)
