Anyone have any pictures of an nGauge mounted in an S197? Is it small enough to fit in the vent by the driver's window?

Is that where you have yours mounted? Any way you could snap a pic?

I would be getting the HP Tuners version and not the Lund version, though.

I have mine in the vent as well. Got some rubber tape at Home Depot, ran it around the gauge, and stuck it in there. Can't see the tape, and the gauge doesn't move or rattle.

I've got a Roush vent pod in there right now. So you just removed the whole vent and used some of that thin foam tape to hold the gauge in with friction?

Yes, it's just rubber splicing tape. It doesn't have any adhesive on either side; it'll keep everything in place until you want to remove it. Very easy.

I need my vents. This was a good option for me. My wideband is a bit smaller but there is plenty of room to put a bigger gauge there. I did have to remove some miscellaneous plastic material from behind that spot but it wasn't a big deal.

The vent on the side just seems like it would be a little harder to read. I know my left hand/arm would probably have to move for me to view it.

I have an '11, so the center vents are different. Secondly, the nGauge is wider than a standard 52mm gauge pod.

How hard is it to get the cord run from the back down to under the dash?

Oh, super easy. The cowl panel just pulls straight out. Then, there are a couple plastic tabs that hold the vent to that panel. You gently open them and remove the entire vent. Before you reinstall the cowl panel, you can easily pull the OBD cord through the "hole" where the vent goes.
