Hello all, has anyone tried this setup? Niche Misano M116 18x9.5 5x114.3 (5x4.5) +40mm offset.
Looking for some new wheels for the spring and like the looks of these. Does anyone know if they will clear GT500 Brembos? I would prefer to not have to use a spacer, but would consider it if its only a small spacer.

Thanks for your help

They might work. I honestly think itll need a small spacer. Like an 8mm or something

I could actually call my guys at Niche Monday and check for you if they will work or not, im their largest distributor dealer in So Cal so I have ties with their engineers.

From the offsets youll need to use a small spacer to make it work but its a very possible application offset wise, the one thing that catches my attention is inner barrel clearance, need to check and make sure the wheel has enough inner barrel clearance to slide of the calipers without issues.

I would say they should fit.

I test-fit Niche's 20x10 Milan wheels with a 40mm offset on the front of my Brembo-equipped '13 GT and they fit with tons of room to spare.
Bigger wheel and different spoke design, but similar sizing and same offset.

This is my clearance:

Plenty of room against the strut too:

And it looks like it will tuck inside the fender just fine:

Your 9.5"-wide setup with the same offset will have 6mm more clearance on the inside, but also go inward 6mm on the outside, so it comes down to the shape of the spokes as to whether they'll hit the calipers or not.

One way to know:
Buy one and try it out.

I had the 20" and the 20x10 didn't clear the fronts, the 20x9 did though. I know that's not the size you are looking for but hope it helps some how.

Wait for word from the manufacturer. Usually flat design spokes, like those appear to be, will not clear big brakes, it takes an arched style for clearance. In the pics gabe posted you can see the arch, from the hub, design to those spokes. It looks like the Misano is a flat spoke design.

I have the Milans and they do have a slight arch there.

The OP has Misano's and yes they seem to have a straighter spoke design which can of course more easily hit the caliper

That would be awesome, thank you so much!

I spoke tot he guys there, their saying no go on the 18s brotha they wont slide over the front brakes.

if your after a 18" wheel its going to have to be rotory forged or flow formed to work properly.

Here are some pics of the Niche Misanos as well in 20s. From afar they both look the same.
