310 push rod motor, holley heads, as of now i have a big parker single plane. and pro systems carb

id have to trade down to vic Jr manifold

none the less she makes some power. only got out once this year it ran a 10.40@132 with a busted up clutch

10.40 with clutch issues should be in the hunt...I wonder about that manifold list? Love the class for sure!

smack talk is getting good in here!

speaking of the NMRA
if the finals prelim rules stay final i might show up in FL with a pure street car. Those idiots say i can have a single plane this year with no weight!! and they put weight on the 2v

Saw that. Talk about rolling out a red carpet.

i dont want to sound like beefcakes definition of a bench racer lol

but we expected the car to run around a 9.90 to 9.80 the way she sits. id have to add weight and change the manifold. id say she would be good for a 10.20 ish PS legal

This motor has been 10.17 PS legal in fuel injected trim

You have to courtesy stage? What is this powder puff?

The Auto guys rush to the line and double bulb or triple bulb each other so they can get up on the foot brake first....

lol it's a mess... I got double bulbed every round

Yeah but who cares. If they stage 2 or 3 bulbs and you haven't lit a single bulb you can sit there for infinity before you light the pre stage. Then when you light it you have 7 or 10 seconds depending on the day of the week LOL..

So it shouldn't matter. If your a good racer like you ( which shows you still won ) it's not a big deal.

It's not a big deal to me , but seems like people can't get the foot brake thing down pack in that little time or something.... Not sure.

I like my 3 pedals :thumb:

If I could figure out what to do to get to the line I would show up at Atco and have some fun but if you pros are going.....what chance does a rookie have? I never ran bracket and was thinking about giving it a try.

I am not looking for a trophy and a bazillion dollars and people groveling at my feet. I will show up to have fun and learn something doing it.

What do I need to do besides pay to play?
