So I guess the EB took away some from the V6 market share. No surprise there. Once Ford drops the V6 line I'm sure EB sales will be higher than V8 sales which proves my original point.Found this on another forum. V6 totals are surprising. The stickshift ones are obviously all enthusiasts. I'd bet 80% of the automatic cars were rental cars.
The biggest shock is the number of automatic 5.0's and EB's sold. It's not even close. Does not bode well for the future of the stick shift.

As for autos being more popular, they are hard to overlook when there are supercharged Coyotes with nothing else done (except for maybe a stall and exhaust) running 10s and getting 25+mpg. But I understand not everyone is a drag racer.
