Ok guys i have done sum searching but cant find anything. If i missed a thread then i am sorry. My differential is leaking where the driveshaft connects to the diff. Is this common? I assume the seal has went bad and was wondering how difficult this is to change. Also my car only has 29000 miles. Has not been to a track in a year. Just noticed the leak tonight. Any help would be appreciated.

Pinion Seal is a common issue. Could also be the Companion Flange. I have had to replace them over the years as they wear and don't meet the seal perfectly!

I got my changed recently for about 100 with parts and an hour so of labor. I still need to go back and clean a couple spots.
