I have a 2005 GT (95,000 miles)
Hot Rod cams. long tubes, 4.10 gears, stock Throttle body, CAI and a Lito tune.

Got the P2020 code today, I have been driving easy for the last 150 miles, breaking in a new clutch.
I have done some research and most are saying replace the entire intake manifold.
Is it possible to just replace the sensor/switch?

Do you still have the charge motion plates installed?

Here ya go....................
Ford Factory Service Bulletin OBDII Code P2020 | AutoCodes.com

Question will be if this kit is still available from Ford.......................IMHO the odds aren't very favorable but 1 may get lucky.......

If I were you, I'd hit the junkyards to get a used OEM IM off a 07-08 Mustang 4.6L V8 (Ford obviously made the corrections to remedy this in the CMCV IMRC actuator\position switch assembly after the 06 MY).

You could also use 1 off a 09-10 Mustang 4.6L V8 engine as well, but if you go this route, be sure to get all the IM mounting bolts along w\ it (the 05-08 OEM IM bolts--M6 x 62.5 mm--are 12.5 mm longer than the 09-10 OEM IM bolts--M6 x 50 mm--are).

Junkyard will far & away be the cheapest route.......you might also check out this site for potential parts sales............Mustang Parts For Sale | S197 Mustang Forum - S197Forum.com

Hope this helps.
