PASSENGER airbag removal

hey guys had a thread about this crap last night but got frustrated and stopped working on the car haha.

i've got everything figured out on how to remove the damn airbag module but how do i disengage the top 6 black clips from the dash, the bottom and side clips are easy as a simple push from the back takes care of them, but i cant get the top of this thing to come loose? any tips or answers?????

you do know you dont need to remove all this right if your just drilling into the center section

How much does the passenger side airbag weigh? .. isn't it something like 20-30 lbs? I forget.

ditto what he said. What are you trying to do? I thought the previous help thread was just to get the center vent section off. What am I missing?

Are you talking about the airbag clips?

It's a PITA, but they will pop out. I had to push it from the backside. A little wigglin, a little bangin - you know what I'm talkin about!
