Pic Request: Plasti Dipped Decklids

I am thinking about plasti dipping the decklid on my 2011 Race Red GT/CS. Just curious if anyone has done this before and how did it come out? Pics would be great.

By decklid you mean the center panel?

I have since peeled the chrome ring off, but now, after seeing these pics, I might need to pull the dip off the center as well, to show off the GT.

Only adverse effect I had was the fact that it was peeling off like sand. I sprayed really thin layers and it didn't bond each layer I think so it came off in bits. But the paint was not harmed at all, it actually protected it quite well.

Dipping that decklid is a no brainer. At least on the 13/14, that gloss black that they used really sucks. Shows swirl marks, shows water spots, shows scratches....screw that. Get the dip, and get to spraying.
