I'm putting an Exedy twin disk in my SCCA ESP build Shelby GT Mustang and replacing the pilot bearing. Everything I read says the M-7600-B is the right pilot bearing.
I go to the Dealership, they put in my VIN and say I need a F6ZZ7600A pilot bearing- which the internet says fits Mustang. F350. F150. 4.6l. 5.8l. 5.4l, 6.8l. F250 pick-up. I'm pretty sure if the M7600A pilot bearing is the same it only fits thru '95 Mustang.
So is the M7600B bearing a stronger ford racing part? Which one should I put in? I would hate to have to do something this simple 2x cuz the part was wrong.
Thanks
