There is a TSB for a timing chain issue on the early ('11-12) Coyote motors that causes a clacking sort of noise at lower RPMs. It may be that.

The early Coyote engines were trash, they were always having issues with out of round cylinders. Still the reason I don't mess with them. They're like a Nissan, either they run forever with zero issues or the are junk.
