I made a thread a long time ago on this, and got good response. Fast forward a year and I am back at square one.
298 stroker, 76mm Powerhouse turbo setup. No cats, No evap system. 16psi spring.
Will build no boost until almost 4k rpm. Complete dog until boosts starts building, as in bogged down. I can get on the foot brake or the trans brake and it won't even bust the back tires loose. It just comes up on the converter/translock and sits there.
Many people suggested to look for a preturbo leak, which I did. I did find one leak on the passenger side collector/crossover pipe. Took it in today and had that fixed and the entire system smoke/pressure checked. No leaks on the hot OR the cold side now.
Having the hole in the piping fixed did nothing for my symptoms.
*Tuned by Mike at Powerhouse, ran right at one time just not since I have owned it*
I have had nothing but problems with this car since buying it over a year ago and have about had it. I have a laundry list of things wrong with the car, all of which I could deal with while fixing them if the freaking car would just run like the scalded dog it was built to run like.
Anyone want to buy a Mustang with 30k worth of work done on it that won't outrun a Corolla?
Input welcomed.
