Engine will be shipped from upstate NY. Still working on him for the price. we are in the ballpark of 9K plus shipping and then he is putting me together for the transmission when I can buy it.

I'm happy with it, especially with it being a newly assembled motor, and a bunch of other parts thrown in.

Looking at aftermarket HE's - not sure if I need/want one with fans or not.

Can I have an afco dp with fans and would definately recommend it fwiw.

The motor includes an extra screw at no charge. :poke:

Bahahaha. I have a 3.4 liter Whipple for sale...it has a slight issue...cricket cricket.

Lol!

I'm looking at that and the C&R with fans. Do you have to hook the fan relay up to a switch and just activate it? Or do you splice it in with something else?

Trying to assist you/Earl get rid of the engine/tranny locally!

Did his friend decide that he needs it his truck project now? I know it won't be simple but that would be badass.

I have a couple people in NY/NJ that are interested and now I'm thinking about making the 600~ mile trip to Champlain, NY to pick the engine up and if someone wants to buy the 3V I'll drop it of along the way.

The guy that would be doing the work is Mike Roush who just had his wisdom teeth pulled so he has been down for the past couple of days; that is who Terry was waiting on to see if he was interested in doing the swap.

-Drop rear axle, etching prime it and paint it black.
-Remove front brakes
-Clean engine bay
-etc/etc

Other things I need still -

GT500 dual fuel pump/harness
1-pc Drive Shaft

Aeroforce gauge w/ Boost/AFR stuff
Mid Pipe (or if I get a deal on LT's)
HE Coolant Tank/ Looking at 3x extra large one from Roush/VMP
2013 GT500 Engine Fan
2010+ GT500 clutch/flywheel

If you're swapping kmember, is it easier to just bolt engine to it and install all from bottom?

If you're getting the coolant tank from VMP, they can also hook you up with an Afco dual fan heat exchanger and an intake as well. They have JLT make their intakes without the big JLT logo. You might also consider the dual 67mm throttle body. It's a beast!

I am looking at Afco and c&r. It's a toss up. I like the JLT as I run the 127mm on my 2013, but I think I'm going to just use the stock one from my 2013 to avoid more spending lol. I'm not looking for too much power at the moment, just need to get the engine running.

Awesome Cam, that car should be really sick afterwords!!

Thanks buddy, get your 06 a heart transplant!

I may have missed it but is that the iron block or aluminum Cam?

It's an iron block.

More pictures of the engine and accessories. Right now it's being finished up.
